First time? Pshaw.

So, I'm at the gym this morning, and we have to do the so-called "invisible chair" against the wall.

My legs quickly started their burn and shake, and the lady next to me said, "This your first time doing this?"

"Uh, no," I answered, my mind immediately rewinding a couple of decades to the dreaded Physical Fitness Tests in junior high and sports practices in high school.

"I should be a lot better at it than I am," I said with a laugh.

Ah well. The best part about it? It's over.

What have you done today?

  2. So, I just finished my back exercises. PT never cured the herniated disk, but exercises have really strengthened the abdomen (if you ever want copy of the items, let me know). But the funny part is, like the drawing, all my printouts from Henry Ford Health System are very similar in blotting out body parts -- and therapist had to redraw some because the originals had bad posture habits drawn right into them. So I follow her stick man examples more than art school grad's.

  3. Keep at it Misty . . . habits, habits habits. The good ones are just as hard to break as the bad ones once you get going long enough.
